Denim color names are not standardized, so the same word means different things on different sites. Here is what each one looks like on the pairs we sell, described from the photographs rather than from a supplier sheet.
The words

The pairs that look alike
Some color names sit closer together than the names suggest, and the product pages say so. Three cases worth knowing:
- Black, Black Grey and Dark Grey on the baggy cargo jeans read as one family in daylight. Pick by how much fade is on the leg, not by the name.
- Jet Black and Faded Black are genuinely different: one is flat, the other carries grey through the thigh.
- Light Blue and Light Blue Denim on the skinny fit are close, with the Denim one slightly deeper.
Names worth a second look
Three names on this site do not describe a shade the way you would expect:
- Flame Wash on the wide leg baggy jeans has a cream flame print running up both lower legs. It is a graphic, not a wash.
- Breen and Toadstool on the stretch baggy denim pants are brown-based, not blue, which is easy to miss from the name alone.
Why two pairs of the same wash differ
Washed and distressed denim varies between production runs by design. The depth of a fade and the exact placement of a rip are not identical from pair to pair. That is normal for the finish, not a fault.
Screens shift color too. If a pair arrives and the shade is not what you expected, the return window covers it, and you have 30 days.
The colors without a photograph
Three colors on the high rise ripped baggy jeans, Light Blue, Vintage Blue and Grey, do not have their own photograph yet. The product page says so rather than showing you a different color and hoping you do not notice.
